Iphone 3gs white 16gb and blackberry curve 8520 +

i have an apple iphone 16gb white unlocked(i think) and a blackberry curve 8520 that is unlocked the iphone worked perfectly fine untill the other day when i lent it to my friend but he has never really told me what happened to it and the blackberry works most of the time but sometimes the screen goes white and you have to charge it again, there is no boxes with these thanks any questions text me 07780735096
